KDS stands for Kitchen Display System. This is an interactive kitchen display system provided by Grubtech. It is to be directly installed in restaurant kitchens to optimize kitchen operations. KDS enhances kitchen operations by reducing preparation time through various functionalities. Automated and rule-based item-level routing and grouping improves the order routing operations in stations. KDS also provides sophisticated settings for enabling and disabling menu items and modifiers, issue monitoring with exception handling, order and item-level status updates, Multi-brand compatibility, etc...

KDS Configuration

KDS initial configuration settings are done by our internal team members for you through Grubtech's KDS Orchestrator. It controls the internal settings of KDS deployed in a kitchen station. Partners should set up the virtual KDS to test the integration process if they are willing to use the actual KDS in their kitchen stations.

Virtual KDS

Virtual KDS is a simulation of an actual KDS to perform the integration verification and validation procedures for the order flow. Before installing the actual KDS at the station, external developers should test the proper functioning of the order flow using the virtual KDS.
